Job Description

TeamHealth is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our established emergency department teams across multiple community hospital locations in California. This is a purely clinical role ideal for physicians seeking strong earning potential, flexible scheduling, and the ability to practice across a variety of community settings within a physician-led organization.

Responsibility

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with broad acute illnesses and injuries.

• Efficiently evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients while maintaining high standards of clinical quality and patient safety.

• Perform emergency procedures consistent with training and scope of practice, including airway management, trauma stabilization, and critical care interventions.

• Participate in departmental quality and patient safety initiatives, with no administrative or leadership obligations required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).

• Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage high patient volumes in community hospital emergency departments.

• Comfort working independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Interest in working across multiple TeamHealth-supported sites within a defined California region.

• Eligible for California medical licensure and hospital credentialing.
