Job Description

We are seeking a Nocturnist Diagnostic Radiologist to provide high-quality, timely imaging interpretation during overnight hours for a busy hospital-based radiology service. This role is ideal for radiologists who prefer a dedicated nocturnist schedule, value autonomy, and excel in a fast-paced, clinically focused environment.

Responsibility

• Provide overnight interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain radiography.

• Deliver accurate, timely preliminary and/or final reads to support emergency department and inpatient.

• Communicate critical and urgent findings directly to referring providers in accordance with hospital policy.

• Participate in established quality assurance and peer review processes.

• Utilize PACS, voice recognition, and reporting systems efficiently to support high-volume workflow.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.

• Comfortable interpreting a broad spectrum of emergency and inpatient imaging studies.

• Prior nocturnist or overnight radiology experience preferred.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently during overnight hours.
